Join us for The Legacy Session, an intergenerational storytelling experience designed to help older adults share and preserve the memories, experiences, and stories that can be treasured for generations to come.
In celebration of Grandparents Day, seniors will have the opportunity to participate in a guided storytelling session led by Konshens The MC. Each participant is welcome to bring family members to join them as they reflect on childhood memories, family traditions, life lessons, accomplishments, and meaningful moments. Through guided prompts and conversation, families will have the opportunity to listen, connect, and capture stories that might otherwise be lost.
As a special keepsake, participating families will receive a digital recording of the stories and reflections shared during the session, providing a meaningful way to preserve and revisit their family history for years to come.
Whether you're a grandparent, parent, grandchild, or other family member, The Legacy Session is an opportunity to celebrate the past, connect across generations, and create something your family can cherish for years to come.

About the presenter: Tarik ‘Konshens The MC' Davis is an International hip-hop artist, poet, songwriter, Global Arts Educator, Youth advocate, & Inspirational Speaker from Washington, D.C.
He is the Founder & CEO of Edutainment Unlimited LLC (Arts Education/Entertainment Co.) former Governor on the Grammy Chapter Board, current Voting Member of the Grammy Recording Academy, Grammy Museum Artist Educator, UNCCD Land Ambassador, U.S Cultural Ambassador (State Department), Kennedy Center Next 50 Honoree & Presidential Service Award Recipient.
He is also the MC and founder of ‘Classically Dope' - a classical, hip-hop group merging Poetry and Hip-Hop with original classical arrangements. This fusion purposely brings diverse communities together by exemplifying a shared love through music that transcends ethnicity, geography, and status.
Konshens The MC has been featured at Carnegie Hall and the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts. He has been a highlighted performer on FOX, ABC and CBS networks as well as the Washington Post, Washingtonian Magazine and the Washington Wizards.
