Come learn all about eggs!

Join the Humane Society of Charles County for an engaging and educational program that delves into the fascinating world of chickens and eggs. This interactive event offers participants the opportunity to learn about the life cycle of chickens, the importance of eggs in our ecosystem, and to meet live chickens up close.

Program Highlights:

  • Understanding the Egg Life Cycle: Explore the journey from egg to chick, learning about the stages of development and the conditions necessary for hatching.
  • Meet Live Chickens: Interact with live chickens from around the world provided by the Humane Society, offering a hands-on experience to understand their behaviors, needs, and care.
  • Educational Activities: Engage in fun, educational activities designed to deepen your understanding of eggs.

This program is family-friendly and suitable for ages 4 and up. Whether you're curious about the origins of your breakfast eggs or interested in backyard poultry keeping, this event provides valuable insights and a unique, hands-on learning experience.

Registration is required. Recommended for ages 4 and up.
