Mystery Party: Catastrophe at the Cinema

A 2022 CCPL Adult Summer Learning Program

Do you have what it takes to solve the mystery and save the night? CCPL formally invites you to a Mystery Party at our Potomac Branch.

It’s 1929. The economy is booming, speak-easies are in demand, and the era of silent film is coming to an end. “Talkies” are the way of the future. Of course an enterprising director is going to capitalize on that! With talented actress Violet Beaumont as the leading lady, and popular singer Frank McCoy as the star, The Magnificent Musician is sure to put director Calvin Mancini back on the map! As long as the two of them can play nice tonight. All of the bigwigs in Hollywood are going to be at this premiere. Hopefully. At least all the detectives Calvin invited will be. You can never have too much security, right?

WHAT TO EXPECT: 

You can look forward to an evening filled with fun and laughter. This program will provide attendees with a fully interactive show, where you are right in the action instead of watching the performance unfold on a stage. Each participant that comes to the event will take on a role of detective for this event. You will have to use clues and your detective skills to solve the mysteries that will be revealed throughout the night. 

Registration is required.

Dressing up is encouraged but not required.

Having fun is absolutely required!
