Find out how to reduce your carbon footprint and energy bill at the same time!

Come meet the SMECO Energy Efficiency team at their table and chat about easy ways to cut energy costs and make managing energy use simpler. Learn about energy efficiency and demand response programs, and pick up practical tips to stay comfortable at home while taking more control of your energy use. SMECO is here to help members save money and support a more sustainable community.

Looking for ways to live a more environmentally friendly life, while also reducing your electricity bill? This program with the Charles County Public Library and SMECO may be for you! A representative from SMECO will be discussing programs they have, such as Smart Temp, FlexHome, the Home Energy Improvement Program, and more, that will allow you to earn bonuses and credits for your electricity bill while reducing your carbon footprint!

About the Presenter: SMECO provides power to more than 173,000 services, but it remains a cooperative corporation, owned by its members and operated for them on a non-profit basis. Rates are based on the cost of doing business. Surplus income, if any, is returned to the members through Capital Credits.
