National Novel Writing Month
Kickstart Your Novel
Saturday, November 07
2:00pm - 4:30pm
November is National Novel Writing Month, and what better way to get your Great American Novel started than a silent write-in?
Join us for a completely distraction-free, silent writing session designed to help you draft your first two chapters. Step into our big meeting room which will be transformed into a quiet sanctuary for budding authors. Whether you want to type furiously or scribble by hand, we have you covered. Bring your favorite notebook, or use one of our library laptops and writing supplies. Stuck on your opening line? Look around! Creative writing prompts will be placed throughout the room to break your writer’s block and spark inspiration.
Shh... it’s time to start writing your masterpiece.
