Water Marbled Autumnal Adornments
Friday, November 06
2:00pm - 2:45pm
Do you want to fill your home with harvest-themed accents in vibrant swirls of color? Join us as we teach you how to decorate an assortment of materials through the art of hydrodipping!
Harvest season is right around the corner, and what better way to mark the season than by trying the viral trend of hydrodipping? This technique involves dropping bright paint colors onto the surface of the water, stirring the colors and dipping various materials into the paint to create a beautiful and unique marbled pattern.
These treasures would look perfect featured on a mantle, in a kitchen or dining room, nailed atop an entryway, propped on a bookshelf or even turned into unique wall art. Let yourself get artistic...you can keep these lovely creations for yourself, or give them as gifts. We'll have assorted materials such as glass jars, 5x5'' mini canvases, mini white pumpkins, pretty wooden decorations, mini white metal tins and plain cardstock paper (which can serve as personalized scrapbooking or journal paper) to design one-of-a-kind centerpieces to brighten your home for the upcoming autumn season.
Please note that registrants must attend the program in person to receive the craft materials. A separate registration is required for each patron interested in making a craft.
Registration is required. If you have questions, please contact the P. D. Brown Branch at 301-645-2864 or email pdbrownref@ccplonline.org.
