Art Exploration @ P.D. Brown

Discover the world of art through creativity, exploration, and hands-on learning!

Discover the world of art through hands-on creativity and fascinating stories about the artists, styles, and techniques that have shaped the art world. Each session will explore a different artist, art movement, artistic style, theme, or technique, giving participants the opportunity to learn, experiment, and get creative.

After exploring the featured topic, participants will create their own art project inspired by what they’ve discovered, experimenting with new materials, techniques, and creative ideas along the way.

In October, we will learn about Molas, hand-made textile that forms part of the traditional women's clothing of the indigenous Guna people from Panama, and create our own paper Molas.

Art Exploration @ P.D. Brown meets every other month on the first Monday.

Registration is required. Families registering multiple children should register each participant separately.
