Celebrate National Children's Book Day with us by crafting your very own children's book!
In this hands-on workshop, we'll guide you through the exciting process of writing, illustrating, and binding a unique story that you can take home and cherish.
We'll start by discussing the key components of a successful children’s book—how to develop engaging characters, create a compelling plot, and use illustrations to bring your story to life. Whether you're interested in telling an imaginative adventure, a heartwarming tale, or a fun-filled journey, we'll give you all the tools and inspiration you need to get started.
After brainstorming and drafting your story, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Write your story with plenty of room for creativity and imagination.
- Illustrate key scenes using a variety of art supplies provided by the library.
- Bind your book into a simple, personalized keepsake that’s ready to share!
All materials will be provided, and no prior writing or art experience is needed—this program is designed for all skill levels and ages. It’s the perfect opportunity for young aspiring authors and illustrators to bring their ideas to life and create a memorable book to treasure.
Let your creativity soar and celebrate the magic of storytelling this National Children’s Book Day!
