Come learn about the science of explosion with Mad Science of DC!

Come spend an afternoon making things go boom! We’ll learn the four signs of a chemical reaction while getting to see foaming and color changing experiments, balloon inflation, the creation of real clouds, and, of course, some explosions! 


About the Presenter:


Mad Science of Washington was opened in 1995 by a husband-wife team of two Montgomery County Public School teachers. The staff of Mad Science has deep roots in the DC area– from Baltimore to Quantico, and everything in between. Mad Science in Washington runs the region's largest science-based summer camp program, serving over 1500 kids each summer. In 2020, we were proud to be selected as Washington Parent Magazine's WINNER in the category of STEM Summer Camps & Programs.
