Take your art knowledge to the next level!
Join us for an afternoon of art history and learning advanced techniques. We are now offering two sessions of Art Exploration Teen Edition on the fourth Wednesday and fourth Thursday of each month so that even more artists can join in the fun.
In February, we will learn about the fantastic printmaking artwork of Elizabeth Catlett, an African-American sculptor and graphic artist who depicted African-American life in the 20th century. We will take our learned printmaking principles to create an original printmaking stamp to use in designing your one-of-a-kind paintings.
PLEASE NOTE: This program is designed for ages 9 to 18. Younger participants may have difficulty with the projects and/or concepts.
Please register each child who will be attending separately and only register for one session each month, as both Wednesday and Thursday will be the same sessions. Please email Laura Johnson at ljohnson@ccplonline.org with any questions.
Charles County Public Library events are accessible for all. If you have an accessibility request, please contact programs@ccplonline.org three business days prior to the event.
