Learn how to communicate more effectively with AI tools, recognize weak or misleading results, and check AI-generated information against trusted sources.

Getting useful information from an AI tool takes more than simply asking a question. Teens will learn how to interact with AI more intentionally, including how to ask better questions and recognize when an AI-generated response may be incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading. Participants will also practice checking information against trusted sources and developing good judgment when using AI tools.

What is the AI Ready Teens program series?

Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing the tools, platforms, and media teens encounter every day. This five-part series gives teens ages 12–18 practical AI literacy skills they can use in school, creative projects, online spaces, and everyday life. Participants will explore how AI works, learn how to get more useful results from AI tools, experiment with AI-assisted content creation, identify AI-generated media and misinformation, and explore AI for projects and entrepreneurship. Each session stands alone while building toward a broader understanding of responsible and effective AI use. There are also AI Ready program series for Kids & Families (6-11) and Adults.

Registration is required. Families registering multiple teens should register each participant separately.
