Who's excited for school to start? Let's get ready together with Hop on the Bus!

New Pre-K, Kindergarteners, & 1st-Graders are invited a special Back-to-School Story Time, where we will read stories about school buses & then get to ride in a REAL school bus, all while learning about bus safety.

Story Time will begin at 10am inside the P.D Library, then children and their caregiver will board the school bus at 10:30am. Buses will depart for Malcolm Elementary School after a brief explanation of bus safety. Participants will be given the opportunity to practice entering and exiting the bus safely, good bus etiquette, and ask the bus driver questions about being a courteous bus rider. Buses will return to the P.D. Brown Library by 11:30am.

Due to limited space, registration is required. This event is for pre-k, kindergarten, and 1st-graders, along with their caregiver. Please register each child that will be participating.

Please contact pdbrownref@ccplonline.org or call us at 301-645-2864 with any questions!

Charles County Public Library events are accessible for all. If you have an accessibility request, please contact programs@ccplonline.org three business days prior to the event.
