October is LGBTQ+ History Month! Join us to learn how to make a pride flag bracelet while exploring the history and significance of LGBTQ+ identities and symbols.

As you create your bracelet, we'll share a short presentation about LGBTQ+ History Month, the origins and meanings of different pride flags, and their importance to the LGBTQ+ community.

What is a pride flag? Pride flags are a visible symbol of support, identity, and community for LGBTQ+ people and allies. With colorful stripes and unique designs, different flags represent a variety of gender identities, sexual orientations, and other marginalized identities, including intersex people and Two-Spirit Indigenous people. Creating a bracelet inspired by a pride flag is a fun, creative way to learn about their history and celebrate inclusion.

This program is intended and designed for teens ages 12-18.
