Join us at the College of Southern Maryland for this month's Writer's Process!
This is a monthly series for students, staff, faculty, and community members where we bring in local writers into the writing center to discuss writing processes.
About the Author: Kate Lassman is a CSM writing tutor at the Prince Frederick campus. She is the author of the nature poetry collection Dawn Anyway (New Bay Books, 2022) and hopes to publish her second collection this year. She has also recently completed her first novel, which is a cozy mystery entitled The Cat and the Fiddle. She will soon seek publication for that too and is already deep into writing the sequel. When not tutoring or writing, she likes to read widely, team up with her husband to try to beat his computer at Scrabble, travel to national and state parks, and spoil her rescue cats Joy, Grace, and Zany.
This event will take place at the College of Southern Maryland La Plata Branch (8730 Mitchell Rd, La Plata, MD 20646) in the Learning Resource Center Room 211.
This event is sponsored by the Emily Creswick Fund and the CSM Foundation.
