Join us for a discussion with criminal defense lawyer, Seun Williams on individual rights when dealing with the police.

When a police officer stops you on the street, in your car, or even knocks on your door at home, chances are good that the officer believes that you have information that will assist in making an arrest. Knowing this, should you speak with the police officer? Should you let the officer search your home or car? And what happens if you don't?

Explore the answer to these questions and more as Seun Williams from the Law Offices of Thomas E. Pyles, P.A. engages us in a discussion from the perspective of a criminal defense lawyer.

This presentation will go over the following:

  • Your rights when speaking with police officers
  • Your rights at traffic stops and checkpoints
  • Your rights in your home

This program is in partnership through the Charles County Bar Association.
