S.T.E.M., Braids & Beyond presents a conversation around Braid Theory, under-representation & the S.T.E.M. gap like you've never heard before. Come for the braids, stay for the chat

Emalia Denoon is a Divergent Thinker & Innovator. She has three (3) Patents & is the Founder of S.T.E.M., Braids & Beyond. She has a Masters of Science in Analytics, Bachelors of Science in Business Admin. Emalia created and patented a hair braiding tool to teach hair braiding cornrow at an intermediate level in under 15mins. Without realizing it, she had created a scientific approach for a skill that takes years to master. Inspired by the STEM aptitude she didn't realize she had, she created a STEM framework and inclusive curriculum to teach hair, hair braiding and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
