Chemistry and Convection

Calling all school scientists, engineers, mathematicians, and more!

Join us for STEM Club in person or online, where we will experiment, explore, and learn while having fun exploring the principles of science, technology, engineering, and math!

In December we will be learning about Chemistry and Convection! Have fun doing fun colorful experiments while learning about the chemistry of surfactants and convection. You will also get to make awesome marbled art work from one of our experiments!

Registrants will have the option to attend in person or virtually.

If attending virtually, registrants will be provided with a kit with most of the needed materials before the program and will be sent a pre-recorded video of the lesson and activity at the time of the program. Virtual registrants will be able to pick up their program kit from the Potomac Branch starting on November 28th. Curbside pickup is also available upon request. To make a curbside request, please call the Potomac Branch Library at 301-375-7375. One hour advance notice is needed for curbside kit requests.
