Reptile World
a CCPL Summer Learning Challenge Program!

Come meet and learn about all sorts of cool reptiles! This program is a ticketed event. Tickets will be handed out one hour prior to the event's start time.

All sorts of scaly friends are coming to the library! Come spend an afternoon an with interesting selection of live, large, colorful, and gentle reptiles from all over the world! Participants can learn what reptiles are, what makes them different from birds and mammals, and how important they are in our environment, as well as information about general reptile characteristics, adaptation, and their importance in the food chain!
About the Presenter: Since 1970, Michael Shwedick has introduced America to the fascinating world of reptiles. One of America’s leading reptile wildlife educators, his program has educated and entertained more than 15,000 audiences from Miami to Boston. More than 100,000 people a year experience Reptile World. A highly qualified herpetologist, Michael pursues every opportunity to further his knowledge and understanding of reptiles.
