Celebrate creativity and expression with a special showcase featuring talented local artists! This engaging program brings together poetry, music, and spoken word to highlight the diverse voices and artistic styles within our community.
Enjoy powerful and thought-provoking poetry from Charlotte A. Ayers, whose work captures vivid impressions of everyday life with a tone that is both pointed and hopeful. Experience dynamic violin performances by Vera Linda, a professional musician who blends classical training with contemporary sounds, including pop, Latin, and electronic influences. The program will also feature an inspiring spoken word performance by student artist Stacie Eason, whose passion for storytelling and the stage shines through her work.
This program is perfect for all ages and offers an opportunity to connect with local artists, explore different forms of artistic expression, and be inspired by the creativity in our region.

About the Artists:
Poet Charlotte A. Ayers is a resident of Southern Maryland and author of City Walk City Talk, an e-book of urban poetry. She says of her poetry, it gives my impressions of my environment today and what tomorrow may bring. My poems are short, POINTED AND HOPEFUL. Her e-book is available on Amazon.
Violinist Vera Linda is a professional violinist and passionate music educator originally from Venezuela and currently based in Maryland. She has dedicated her life to the art of violin, performing at concerts, private events, and special celebrations. From an early age, she was part of orchestras and musical programs, developing a strong classical foundation. Today, she blends classical training with modern styles such as pop, Latin
music, and electronic sounds, creating engaging and dynamic performances. In addition to performing, Vera Linda is a dedicated violin teacher who loves inspiring children and young students to discover the joy
of music.
Performing Spoken Word is Stacie Eason, a student at the Phoenix International School of the Arts (PISOTA). Stacie takes great pride in excelling in her schoolwork and is a dedicated student. She is active in her church. Stacie is passionate about musical theater and loves being on stage. She has a strong dislike for mean-spirited behavior and believes in kindness and inclusion. Also, she highly values people who are genuine and down-to-earth.
