Help your child build confidence and stay safe online!

This fun, interactive two-part series on internet safety uses engaging, kid-friendly curriculum from Highlights and Google.

Through games, discussions, and hands-on activities, kids will learn practical skills for navigating the digital world safely and responsibly.

Important Registration Information:
This is a two-part program, and participants who register will be automatically enrolled in both sessions. Attendance at both sessions is encouraged to get the most out of the experience.

Part One: Internet Smart & Alert
Learn the basics of staying safe online:

  • What kind of information should be kept private—and why
  • Why it’s important to think before you post
  • How to respect other people’s privacy online
  • How to spot suspicious websites or messages and what to do if you encounter a scam

Part Two: Internet Strong, Kind, and Brave (June 16, 2026)
Build positive and confident online habits:

  • Why strong passwords matter
  • How emojis and kind words can change the tone of a message
  • When to ask a trusted adult for help
  • How to be a brave and supportive friend online

Kids will stay engaged with interactive games like Bingo and hidden object searches, and will have the opportunity to earn charms for a bracelet as well as fun vinyl stickers along the way.

Caregivers will receive a Family Guide and a Special Edition Magazine to take home, helping reinforce what was learned and continue the conversation beyond the program.

This program is for children ages 7-12. Registration is required. Families registering multiple children should register each participant separately.
