Teen Film Club is a hands-on program for teens interested in exploring the art and craft of filmmaking. Participants will learn each stage of the filmmaking process, from developing story ideas and writing scripts to planning and managing pre-production, filming on set, and editing in post-production. We will work collaboratively to create original short films as well as promotional video projects for the library, gaining experience with cameras, sound, lighting, and editing software along the way. The club emphasizes creativity, teamwork, and storytelling while building practical media literacy and technical skills that can be applied to future academic or creative pursuits.
Registration is not required. If you have questions, please contact the Waldorf West Branch at 301-645-1395 or email westref@ccplonline.org.
