Warm up your favorite hot drinks with a custom-made mug koozie crafted from colorful, upcycled socks! In this fun and beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn how to cut, sew, and decorate your mug koozie to keep your hands comfy and your drinks warm. Bring your own standard-sized mug or travel mug so you can create a perfectly fitted sleeve. PLEASE NOTE that wider mugs aren’t recommended for this project.
No sewing experience? No problem! We’ll guide you step-by-step as you personalize your koozie with buttons, ribbons, and other charming details. This program is a great way to combine creativity and practicality while making a unique, reusable accessory to help fight off that winter chill.
This program requires fine motor skills and is recommended for ages 9-18.
