Join us and SMECO for an exciting, hands-on workshop to learn about energy efficiency!

Have you ever wondered how the lights turn on in your house, why your video games need power, or how to keep all that energy from slipping away? Come join us for a fun, hands-on adventure with a special guest from SMECO (Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative)!

In this interactive program, you’ll discover:

  • How energy travels to your home and powers your favorite things.
  • Cool tricks to save energy (and maybe even money!).
  • Why saving energy helps our planet.

You’ll get to try out exciting demonstrations, learn simple energy-saving habits you can use every day, and take home your very own Energy Explorer Kit to keep the fun going at home.

Perfect for curious kids who like to experiment, ask questions, and explore the world around them!

Registration is required.

If you have questions, please contact the P. D. Brown Branch at 301-645-2864 or email pdbrownref@ccplonline.org.
