Take your art knowledge to the next level!
Join us for an afternoon of art history and learning advanced techniques. We are now offering two sessions of Art Exploration Teen Edition on the fourth Wednesday and fourth Thursday of each month so that even more artists can join in the fun. March is Women's History Month. We will learn about some of history's most influential female artists, such as Caterina Van Hemessen, Frida Kahlo, Maria Sibylla Merian, Margret Keen and more. This month, we will be creating Frida Kahlo-inspired mixed-media self-portraits.
PLEASE NOTE: This program is designed for ages 9 to 18. Younger participants may have difficulty with the projects and/or concepts.
Please register each child who will be attending separately and only register for one session each month, as both Wednesday and Thursday will be the same sessions. Please email Laura Johnson at ljohnson@ccplonline.org with any questions.
Charles County Public Library events are accessible for all. If you have an accessibility request, please contact programs@ccplonline.org three business days prior to the event.
