Calling all artists! Join us for an afternoon of art history fun, learning all about different artists while learning new art skills and techniques!
We are now offering two sessions of Art Exploration on the second Wednesday and second Thursday of each month so that even more artists can join in the fun.
In March, we will learn about artist Edgar Degas. Degas was a French Impressionist artist who transformed the art world with his ability to portray the movement and delicacy of ballet dancers. We will explore a monochromatic color scheme while creating mixed-media dancer collages.
Please register each child who will be attending separately and only register for one session each month, as both Wednesday and Thursday will be the same sessions. Please email Laura Johnson at ljohnson@ccplonline.org with any questions.
Charles County Public Library events are accessible for all. If you have an accessibility request, please contact programs@ccplonline.org three business days prior to the event.
