Celebrate our journey to present-day America and discover how each of us adds a square to the quilt of America in Community Quilts!
The history of immigration in the United States is told through Dance, Music, and Story! Discover how each community adds another square to the quilt of America with its different stories, culture, and traditions. The performance will encourage children to cultivate their ability to connect the history they read to the life they are familiar with, understand the structure of a story, and respect other cultures and traditions.
Arianna Ross is a weaver of tales. She tells stories of her Russian-Polish ancestors. She spins yarns about her two years of performing and teaching in India. She stitches together cultures from disparate threads, creating a quilt of humanity in the process.
