Art Exploration: Unexpected Painters

Join us for an afternoon of art history and a hands-on art project. We will be exploring some unexpected artists with hidden artistic talents.
Join us for an afternoon of art history and a hands-on art project. Many important and famous people throughout history had hidden art talents. We will be exploring some of these unexpected unknown artists. Attendees will learn about artists such as Theodore Roosevelt, George W. Bush Jr., Marilyn Monroe, and more while creating a one-of-a-kind art piece.
Registrants will be provided with a kit with all of the needed materials before the virtual program on March 1st. Registrants will be able to pick up their program kit from the Potomac Branch starting on March 9th. Curbside pickup is also available upon request. To make a curbside request, please call the Potomac Branch Library at 301-375-7375. One-hour advance notice is needed for curbside kit requests. 1 kit per registration. 30 Kits will be available while supplies last.
