Celebrate National Moth Week at the Potomac Branch. Each day in the week of 7/20-7/24 we will be exploring a different moth native to the state of Maryland.

Today's activity will feature creating a Giant Leopard Moth. Come learn some cool facts and make a replica of today's featured moth.

Celebrate the fascinating world of moths! We invite you to drop in anytime during library hours to create a fun moth-themed craft inspired by a different species native to Maryland each day. Learn about the beauty, diversity, and importance of these nighttime pollinators while exploring a variety of creative hands-on activities. This self-guided passive program is perfect for families, children, and curious nature lovers looking for a fun and flexible way to participate. Stop by once or visit every day to discover a new Maryland moth and take home your creations!
