Turn trash into triumph! Use recycled materials to build a marble run that keeps your marble rolling the longest. Creativity and engineering collide in this fun sustainability challenge!
Challenge yourself to see everyday recyclables in a whole new way! In this hands-on creative STEM workshop participants will use discarded materials, think cardboard tubes, boxes, and containers, to design and build their own marble runs. Using tape, staples, and imagination, you’ll construct a course that keeps a marble rolling as long as possible.
At the end of the session, each group will test their marble run in a friendly competition. Prizes will be awarded for Longest Run Time, Most Creative Design, and Hardest Workers. Get ready to build, test, and laugh your way through this eco-friendly engineering challenge!
This program requires fine motor skills and is recommended for ages 9-14.
Registration is required. Families registering multiple tweens should register each participant separately.
