Calling all crafty teens! La Plata Library's Teen Craft Fair is your chance to capitalize on your talents by selling handmade items.
Are you a teen who loves to knit, paint, cross stitch, 3D print, or make jewelry, pottery, or stained glass? Would you like to share your talent with the community and get paid for your hard work? If you answered yes to these questions, our Teen Craft Fair is the perfect place for you!
Interested teens must first fill out a form to tell us a little about themselves, acknowledge library policies and requirements, and describe what item(s) they'd like to sell. Please note that filling out the form does not guarantee a spot at the craft fair as space is limited. Fill out the vendor interest form here. Parental permission is required for participation. The deadline for submitting an interest form is Monday, July 14th.
All approved craft fair vendors are required to attend our Teen Entrepreneurial Workshop on August 4th from 2-3pm to prepare them for success at the craft fair where we will cover various entrepreneurial topics such as pricing, advertising, manufacturing, and more. Learn tips and tricks to make the best of your time at the craft fair!
The Teen Craft Fair will be held on August 9th from 11am-3pm and will be open to the public.
This event is not open to the public and is for approved vendors only.
Please note that filling out the interest form does not guarantee a spot as a vendor.
