Learn about caring for a loved one in the middle stages of Alzheimer's.

Are you currently caring for a loved one in the middle stages of Alzheimer's disease? As the condition progresses, caregiving can become even more complex and emotionally challenging. This workshop is designed to offer you essential guidance, practical strategies, and research-based tools to provide the best possible care for your loved one, while also supporting your own well-being.

In this session, we will cover:

  • Understanding the middle stages of Alzheimer's, including common cognitive, emotional, and behavioral changes
  • Research-based best practices for managing daily care routines, addressing increasing confusion, and enhancing safety in the home
  • Effective communication techniques, helping you stay connected with your loved one despite changes in their ability to express themselves
  • Providing emotional support, both for your loved one and yourself, with strategies for reducing anxiety, frustration, and agitation
  • Self-care tips for caregivers, including stress management techniques to help you cope with the demands of caregiving

This workshop offers practical insights and compassionate guidance, empowering you with the tools needed to navigate this challenging phase of Alzheimer's caregiving. Whether you're seeking ways to improve your loved one's quality of life or find ways to manage your own emotional health, this session is designed to equip you with the knowledge and confidence to provide care with compassion and dignity.
