Learn about caring for loved ones in the late stages of Alzheimer's.

Are you caring for a loved one in the late stages of Alzheimer's disease? As Alzheimer's progresses to its most advanced stages, caregiving becomes an even more challenging and emotionally taxing journey. This workshop is specifically designed to provide you with the knowledge, support, and practical tools you need to offer the best care to your loved one while maintaining your own well-being.

In this session, we will explore:

  • Understanding the late stages of Alzheimer's, including the cognitive, physical, and emotional changes that occur as the disease advances
  • Research-based best practices for managing daily care, ensuring comfort, and addressing the unique needs of someone in the later stages of Alzheimer's
  • Techniques for effective communication, even as your loved one’s ability to verbalize their needs may decrease
  • Supporting your loved one's emotional and physical needs, including managing end-of-life care, reducing pain or discomfort, and providing emotional reassurance
  • Caring for yourself as a caregiver, with practical strategies for managing stress, preventing burnout, and seeking emotional support

This session offers expert insights and compassionate guidance, helping you feel more equipped and confident in your caregiving role. Whether you're navigating complex medical needs, managing emotional challenges, or looking for ways to connect with your loved one during this difficult time, this workshop will provide you with valuable, research-driven tools and strategies to ensure your loved one’s dignity, comfort, and care throughout the late stages of Alzheimer’s.
