Take your art knowledge to the next level!

Join us for an afternoon of art history and learning advanced techniques. We offer two Art Exploration Teen Edition sessions on the fourth Wednesday and fourth Thursday of each month so that even more artists can join in the fun.

This month, we will learn about the methods and benefits of adding texture to paintings. We will explore artists such as Frank Auerbach, Jane Puylagarde and Martha Winter, all of whom experimented with mediums and adding value to their art with texture.

PLEASE NOTE: This program is designed for ages 9 to 18. Younger participants may have difficulty with the projects and/or concepts.
Please register each child who will be attending separately and only register for one session each month, as both Wednesday and Thursday will be the same sessions.
If you have questions, please contact the Potomac Branch at 301-375-7375 or email potomacref@ccplonline.org.
