In recognition of Financial Literacy Month, join Dr. Troy Anderson, a financial wellness educator from the University of Maryland Extension Office, for an interactive workshop that explores financial goals, budgeting, credit, debt, scams, and more. Learning about finances can feel overwhelming, and sometimes it is difficult to know where to start. When making decisions for you or your family, having a plan is the key to success!

About the educator: Dr. Troy Anthony Anderson is the Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) Extension Agent for Calvert County, Maryland. His area of focus is Financial Wellness, specializing in Consumer Behavior & Personal Finance. He has expert-level experience teaching Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses such as Family & Consumer Sciences across the curriculum. Dr. Troy has presented and conducted numerous workshops on Financial Pedagogy. Above all, he is passionate about using his experience and background to assist organizational leaders and agencies build internal capacity through strategic planning and program development for families and youths.
