Waldorf West Branch -

Join CCPL & Kathryn Batey from Safe Harbor Criminal Defense and learn how to prepare like a pro for traffic court, from the perspective of a lawyer.

Chances are, you've probably gotten a traffic ticket at some point in your life, and if you haven't, you likely will. Going to court to fight the ticket, or to request that the ticket doesn't permanently affect your driving record is a daunting task unless you're a professional like Kathryn Batey from Safe Harbor Criminal Defense who does this every day. In this program, Kathryn Batey will provide insight into how to prepare like a pro for traffic court from her extensive experience in representing individuals for traffic violations.

This program will go over:

  • How to evaluate whether hiring a lawyer to represent you in court is necessary
  • How to present yourself in court (how to dress & how to respond to questions) for the best possible outcome
  • Questions to ask in court that may help your case
  • and more!

This program is in partnership with the Charles County Bar Association
