Calling all artists! Join us for an afternoon of art history fun, learning all about different artists while learning new art skills and techniques!
We are now offering two sessions of Art Exploration on the second Wednesday and second Thursday of each month so that even more artists can join in the fun.
In December, we will learn about the Ming dynasty (1368–1644) pottery of China. The Ming dynasty was a powerful imperial dynasty of China, ruling from 1368 to 1644 and known for many accomplishments. The Ming Dynasty is known for its contributions to the arts through drama, literature, and world-renowned porcelain. Ming Dynasty pottery is specifically known for its intricate blue and white patterns.
Please register each child who will be attending separately and only register for one session each month, as both Wednesday and Thursday will be the same sessions. Please email Laura Johnson at ljohnson@ccplonline.org with any questions.
Charles County Public Library events are accessible for all. If you have an accessibility request, please contact programs@ccplonline.org three business days prior to the event.
