Join us for an amazing night of Latin music with award-winning musician and DJ, Joe Falero, in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month!

Dance the night away at Waldorf West Library as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with award-winning musician and DJ, Joe Falero! Join us as we listen and dance to Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, and much more in a vibrant evening that will take you to the heart of Latin music. 

All ages are welcome! No registration is required.

About The Presenter:

Joe Falero is known for his showmanship, great technique, and spectacular solos. He is an excellent bandleader who strives to get the best out of his fellow musicians, which is manifested through his desire to always do something original in every show! He is the DJ, Host, and Producer of his show “Soy Boricua” which airs every Saturday from 11am to 2pm live on WSER dB (aka. Salsa Empire Radio).

Joe was born in La Parada 23 Abajo, Santurce, Puerto Rico. At 9 years old, he asked for a Conga drum as a Christmas gift. At 12 years old, he was already playing Rumbas, Bomba, and Plena with his friends in the neighborhood. By 15 years old, Joe played with a variety of local bands and was often asked to be the DJ at events due to his extensive knowledge of Latin music.

For the last 40 years, Joe has worked as a professional musician and DJ in local and international events. He is an award-winning Bandleader and DJ, sharing the stage with several Latin music superstars like El Gran Combo de PR, Celia Cruz, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Grupo Niche, Joe Arroyo, Tito Puente Jr. and many more.


Joe Falero es conocido por su talento para el espectáculo, gran técnica y por sus habilidades como solista. Es un excelente director de banda musical que se esfuerza por sacar lo mejor de sus compañeros músicos, lo que se manifiesta a través de su deseo de hacer siempre algo original en cada show. Es el DJ, presentador y productor de su programa "Soy Boricua" que se transmite todos los sábados de 11 am a 2 pm en vivo por WSER dB (también conocido como Salsa Empire Radio). Joe nació en La Parada 23 de Santurce, Puerto Rico. A los 9 años pidió una Conga como regalo de Navidad. A los 12 años ya tocaba Rumbas, Bomba y Plena con sus amigos del barrio. A los 15 años, Joe tocaba con una variedad de grupos locales y a menudo se le pedía que fuera el DJ en eventos debido a su amplio conocimiento de la música latina.

Durante los últimos 40 años, Joe ha trabajado como DJ y músico profesional en eventos en locales e internacionales. Es un galardonado DJ  y director de banda musical que ha compartido el escenario con varias superestrellas de la música latina como El Gran Combo de PR, Celia Cruz, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Grupo Niche, Joe Arroyo, Tito Puente Jr. y muchos más.
