Digital Literacy Workshop: Email Basics

Learn how to set up and use a Gmail email account.
This in-person workshop is for those who are new to using email or want to build more confidence using email. The email training will be using Gmail, one of the most common email platforms.
In this workshop, learners will:
- Create a Gmail account
- Learn how to perform basic email functions, such as sending, receiving, and replying to email
- Learn to recognize and deal with spam
- Learn how to organize and delete emails, and search for messages
Every attendee will receive a swag filled tote bag and be entered into a drawing to receive a free Chromebook.
Attendees must be present for the duration of the workshop to receive a tote bag.
This workshop is being funded by a grant from the PLA Digital Literacy Workshop Incentive, supported by AT&T.
