Get your child's car seat professionally checked by a Child Passenger Safety Technician! Registration is required.

To ensure that children are riding safely, KISS (Kids in Safety Seats) will conduct a FREE child safety seat check at the Waldorf West Library to instruct and assist parents and caregivers.
Registration is required. Registration will open 6 weeks in advance. At this event during your appointment, technicians will demonstrate how to properly adjust, harness, and install a car seat. Each appointment requires 30 minutes. Technicians will ensure that the parent/caregiver will be confident in installing and using a car seat before leaving the appointment.
Drive ups accepted, if time permits!
What to Expect:
You will work one-on-one with a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician. The CPS Technician will complete a check-list. The CPS Technician will teach you how to install and use your car seat correctly. Appointments take approximately 45 minutes per car seat.
