In this virtual "How 2" program, Constance Hallinan Lagan will share with you the technical, nitty-gritty know-how necessary to secure every interview you want by writing a winning resume!

The key to getting every interview you seek is an effective resume, one that maximizes your strengths and minimizes your weaknesses. You are the product and your resume is your No. 1 marketing tool. Get it right and you are on the path to your dream job.

Many well qualified candidates never get the chance to interview because their resumes did not "sell" the product?  Applying the AIDA Principle of advertising to the job of writing an effective resume is a must.  Your resume must grab Attention, spark Interest, create Demand, and motivate Action.  

This webinar is divided into two segments:  lecture and question- and-answer period. The topics covered include purpose of the resume, formats (chronological, functional), resume components, resume tips, cover letters, reference lists, and letters of recommendation.

About the Presenter:

Constance Hallinan Lagan, director of The Entrepreneurial Center for Small Business Development, lectures nationwide on the job search, career advancement, entrepreneurship and personal growth for corporations, government agencies, professional associations, labor unions, hospitals, health care agencies, support groups, financial institutions, women's organizations, churches, colleges, universities and libraries nationwide.
