Lego Challenge! Build the New Library!

Register to pick up your Lego Kit Bundle at the La Plata Library, to join our Lego Challenge: Build the New Library!

Are you a fan of building Legos? Are you excited about the new La Plata Library? Get the whole family involved and come together to use the Lego bundle we'll provide to let your imagination soar as you build the new La Plata Library!  Lego bundles are comprised of random Lego pieces in a gallon Ziploc bag. Participants are allowed and encouraged to use their own Legos as well. Once the Lego Library is complete, send a picture of the finished project to programs@ccplonline.org to be entered into the voting challenge! The winner will receive a LEGO Kit of their choice! 

For Lego Kit Bundles:

Registration for the Lego Kit bundles are full. If you registered to pick up a Lego Kit Bundle, please pick up at the La Plata Branch by Wednesday, January 12. 

For the Challenge: 

Registration is not required to complete in the challenge (registration is solely for receiving the bundles). Once your Lego Library is complete, send a picture of your finished piece to programs@ccplonline.org by January 24th, 2022. Pictures of the Lego creations will be shared to social media and voted on. The winner with the most likes will be announced on January 28th!

Pictures: Please note that pictures will be posted on social media. If you would like to send a picture with the builders included (we love to see your smiley faces!) a media release form must be included in the picture submission: Media Release Form.
