Learn how to interview and negotiate successfully, so that you can secure a position you love and earn a wage that accurately reflects your market value.
Whether you are unemployed or under employed, whether you ?see the handwriting on the wall? or the pandemic has seriously limited your employment options, landing your next job may prove to be more difficult than obtaining any past job, even your first. Effective interviewing followed by practical negotiating is crucial to your success.
The more prepared you are for interviewing and negotiating, the more likely you are to secure a position you will be happy with for many years to come. Job applicants who are uncomfortable in the ?hot seat? and who feel embarrassed ?selling? themselves often fall into less than desirable positions, earning wages far below their worth. Before very long they are once again ?out there,? looking for a better job, only to repeat the cycle
again.
This webinar provides you with interviewing and negotiating skills that will empower you to interview and negotiate successfully, to secure a position
you love, and to earn a wage that accurately reflects your market value. This webinar is divided into two segments: lecture and question-and-answer period. The topics covered include the 4Ps of marketing and how they apply to interviewing and negotiating, the function of the interview process, answering and asking interview questions, identifying and handling difficult issues and questions, accepting/declining the offer, preparing to counteroffer, ?mining? for referrals, and following up.
