A one-of-a-kind storytelling performance that will have kids of all ages dancing and singing along, followed by a workshop on how to write rap verses!

The performance starts with the heartwarming tale of how Friendly Fables and the 'Rap Dad' began. Then we dive into magical stories told through rap-a-long,  followed by a workshop on how to write a rap verse!

Recommended for ages 6-11.

Lexy, the Rap Dad is a children's author and rapping dad from Ajax, Ontario. The creator of Friendly Fables, a collection of 14 stories and rap-a-long songs, is making a name for himself by combining rapping with storytime and it's fun for the whole family! It all began when Lexy left the corporate world unexpectedly to care for his infant son who required surgery at The Hospital For Sick Children in Toronto. He created the book series to entertain his own family and found his calling in performing the stories for others. Fast forward to today and Lexy is generating buzz among kids and parents for his wildly popular Rap-A-Long books, songs and videos. So much so that his debut kids rap album based on his books reached #1 on the iTunes children's music chart in Canada! Plus, his Friendly Fables YouTube Channel has taken off racking up half a million views.
