All About Birds with Birdhouse Kits to Go!

Birdhouse Kit Pickup - Laurel Springs Park

To celebrate the arrival of spring please join us for a special presentation on our feathered friends on March 17th, 9:30 at Laurel Springs Park and take a Birdhouse kit home! REGISTRATION REQUIRED.

To celebrate the arrival of spring please join us for special presentation on our feathered friends on March 17th, at 9:30 at Laurel Springs Park: 5940 Radio Station Rd, La Plata, MD 20646. We will have a speaker from Wild Birds Unlimited to give tips on feeding the birds between 10-10:30 AM.  We will have a birdhouse takeaway craft with everything you will need to create your own unique birdhouse at home! Birdhouse kits can be picked up any time between 9:30 AM - 11 AM at this stop to registered participants.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED in order to receive a Bird House kit and attend program. Due to social distancing precautions, every person attending must register for the program.

Please prepare to socially distance and masks will be required for this event.  Bring your own chair or blanket so that you can enjoy this program comfortably.

Commitment to Safety
All CCPL staff members are required to wear masks and practice social distancing, and we ask that all visitors to our Mobile Library and Outreach Van stops do the same. All library materials are quarantined for 48 hours, and all services and exchanges of materials are contactless. All staff follow and practice enhanced cleaning and sanitizing protocols that have been in place in our branches and Mobile Library vehicles since Phase 1 of our Reopening process.
