Does your summer wardrobe need a refresh? Join us for an Upcycling Social and give your favorite pieces a brand-new look!

Participants are invited to bring their own clothing items—shirts, skirts, pants, or dresses—and transform them with creative, hands-on techniques.

We'll provide a variety of supplies to help you customize your clothing, including fabric paints and stamps for adding unique designs, grommets for creating edgy details like lace-up shoulders or sides, and fabric glue for no-sew alterations such as cropping, reshaping, or combining pieces. Whether you're going for bold and expressive or simple and stylish, there are plenty of ways to make your clothing your own.

No prior experience is needed! We'll have inspiration guides and tutorials available to spark your creativity, including easy DIY techniques that don't require sewing or special tools.

Bring your clothes, bring your creativity, and leave with something uniquely you!

Bensville park is located at 6980 Bensville Rd, White Plains, MD 20695.

Please note that the Mobile Outreach team will not be bringing the Mobile Library vehicle to this event. This will be a program-only event, so there will be no materials for check out. 

This program is intended for adults ages 18+. Registration is required.
