Join us and experts on the subject from the Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum and MAC (Maryland Archaeological Conservation) Lab to learn what archaeology is being done right here in Southern Maryland and how real archaeologists do their jobs!
About the Presenter: Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum is a state park in St Leonard, Maryland (Calvert County). It features more than 70 archaeology sites on premises and boasts documentation of 9,000 of continued human habitation! It is home to the Maryland Archaeological Conservation Laboratory. Their mission is to invite the public to explore Maryland's past, present, and future.
