Want to read the book before watching it on the big screen? Join us for a lively book discussion series where stories come to life before their movie premieres!

This monthly program meets from March through May and invites readers to explore popular books that are heading to theaters.

Each session will include a guided book discussion along with a fun, interactive game—such as Trivia, Bingo, Pictionary, or Hangman—designed to deepen understanding of the story and characters. Participants can reserve each month’s book through our online catalog for pickup at any Charles County Public Library branch.

Upcoming Reads:

  • March 3: Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins
  • April 21: The Chronicles of Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew by C.S. Lewis
  • May 5: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling (Re-release)

This book discussion series is recommended for ages 9–12. Registration is required for all attendees.
