October 12th is World Migratory Birds Day! Did you know Maryland is host to over 460 species of birds? There are some here year round, some breed here then go somewhere else for the winter and some stop here on their way to their breeding or wintering grounds. We'll put ourselves in the shoes/on the wings of these migrators, look at the challenges they face, and learn how we can help them succeed. This program is presented by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.
