Celebrate the magic of storytelling between generations with a special storytime for grandparents and their grandchildren.

Join us for a heartwarming 20-25 minute “Grand Storytime” that highlights African American culture and traditions through engaging books and songs. Featuring cherished reads, this special session is designed to celebrate the bond between grandparents and grandchildren.

After the storytime, each grandparent will receive a What I Love About You! A Color-Your-Own Recordable Storybook. Together with their grandchild or grandchildren, they can use crayons, markers, and stickers to decorate the book, making it a personalized keepsake.

Our staff will guide participants on how to record their voices in the storybook, creating a treasured memory that can be enjoyed for years to come. This interactive craft time offers grandparents and grandchildren a unique opportunity to share stories and strengthen their connection in a cozy, supportive environment.

Each registered grandparent will receive 1 recordable storybook to share and decorate with their grandchild or grandchildren. Supplies are limited so please only register the grandparent who will be attending; you are welcome to bring as many grandchildren with you as you would like.

Come be part of a warm and welcoming community where stories bridge generations and imagination knows no bounds.
