Join us to learn the basics of Chinese calligraphy in anticipation of the Lunar New Year!

Join us for an introduction to the art of Chinese calligraphy with Jojo Liu! To celebrate the Lunar New Year (the Year of the Snake), our instructor will teach the basics of traditional Chinese calligraphy, including holding a brush and writing basic strokes, and New Year sayings.

About the Presenter: Jojo Liu started practicing Chinese calligraphy at a young age, inspired by her grandfather. She strives to share this old and rich practice in the modern world. She is a board member for the San Francisco Chinese Arts Association and a member of the American Arts Association.
